Smoke curtain for automatic smoke compartmentation
A smoke curtain limits the spread of smoke, the greatest danger in a fire. The fabric sits rolled in a cassette and descends automatically on detection.

Operation and control
The curtain is controlled from the fire alarm system and descends automatically and in a controlled manner on detection. The 24V tubular motor with Gravity Fail-Safe ensures the fabric also closes safely under its own weight during a power failure; the CBM control cabinet with UPS backup bridges up to six hours.

Certification and documentation
All BACHSMOKE models are tested to EN 12101-1 and carry CE marking. Smoke leakage performances such as Sa or S200 are separate classifications (EN 1634-3, EN 13501-2) that must be demonstrable for each curtain construction. Test reports, product sheets and installation instructions are available per model; request documentation for your project or specification.
