Fire compartmentation in industry and logistics
Compartments here are large and openings must stay clear for forklifts and conveyors. Curtains close only on alarm and span very wide openings.
Compartmentation without fixed walls
A structural wall with fire doors gets in the way of logistics flows and fixes the layout of the hall for years. A fire curtain keeps the passage completely clear in daily use and only closes in case of fire. That way you combine flexible operations with demonstrable compartmentation.
Dimensions and customisation
Our curtains bridge large spans — up to 15 × 7 metres with the MEGAFIRE EI 120 model. For even larger openings, several curtains are coupled. Where the passage is wide and heavily trafficked, we close the compartment with the SD1-60 steel sliding door.
Working with insurers and authorities
With large compartments, insurers often impose additional requirements on top of the regulations. We contribute to the discussions with insurers and authorities, substantiate equivalent solutions and supply the test and certification documentation required for them.
