Fire-resistant sliding door for large passages
Not every passage suits a fabric curtain. Where forklifts and pallets pass daily and the opening is wide, a steel sliding door closes the compartment. The leaf runs aside along the wall and leaves the passage completely clear in use.

When do you choose a sliding door?
A sliding door belongs where the passage is wide and heavily used: warehouses, production halls and distribution centres. A steel leaf withstands daily traffic better than fabric, and because the leaf moves aside rather than descending, the clear height under the passage is fully retained.
Construction and sealing
The leaf is built up from modular panels of 0.6 mm steel sheet with insulating material on the inside. Around the opening, a door stop of 2 mm electro-galvanised steel with intumescent strips provides the seal against flames and hot gases; that stop is fixed both to the wall and to the leaf.
